COVID-19 UPDATE AND PRACTICE INFORMATION

The team at Sydney Spine and Pelvis Physiotherapy Centre is focused on the wellbeing and safety of all our clients and team.

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we are closely monitoring the advice of the World Health Organisation and The NSW health department and Australia's Chief Medical Officer and have therefore taken the last 2 weeks to re-invent the service we provide and ensure a safe environment for you should you need treatment, and to continue providing the specialised classes that are a signature of our service. From Monday 20 April we will be re-opening at reduced capacity at Drummoyne to continue our focus on supporting our clients and those in the community requiring emergency treatment of their pain or injuries. Our our small group rehabilitation and Pilates classes will return in an on-line format and we are adding 30 minute "Back fit" classes to help you through self-isolation.
Strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards have always been adhered to in our practice, however, we have implemented additional precautionary measures and wanted to share these with you.

Practice

Patients attending SSP Drummoyne for an emergency appointment will be asked to follow a strict protocol to enter the practice to maintain the strict sterile environment within the practice to protect staff and other clients. This includes Temperature checking, isolation of outside clothes and personal items, compulsory use of hand sanitisers. Clients are asked to bring their own mask to each appointment. We are only seeing 1 patient in the building at any time and all treatment and payment surfaces are being sanitised between each session. Your physio will be wearing appropriate PPE

All our team will sanitise and wash their hands before and after each interaction.

Our team will be greeting you with smiling eyes, rather than a touch.

To Assist with Social Distancing

We are asking patients to assist with social distancing and to therefore attend no more than 1-2 minutes prior to their appointment and come to the rear entrance so we can begin the entrance protocol

We are also asking that each patient arrives on their own as additional people will not be permitted into the clinic.
